For the child with a great imagination and a passion for fashion! Open to children Ages 8-18. All fabric, materials, sketch books, tools & notions are provided in our camp. Our staff goes fabric shopping biweekly so that your child will have a great selection of fabric to choose from.
This intensive workshop will begin with an inspiration boards in which students can look back on throughout the week to get ideas for sewing projects. After our inspirations we will begin SEWING! We will learn safety & threading and start with a project! Next, we will start really CREATING! Children will be creating from their own sketches and using our basic slopers and commercial patterns to create their designs. They will then construct their designs with help from our instructors. Throughout the week we will also have the option to learn SEW
ING RECYCLING! Each week our instructors will be heading to the closest used clothing store and we will have the option to turn something old into something new! We end our camp with photos and an outdoor virtual fashion show live on our fb! SEW FUN!!
Space is limited to 8-10 children per camp and can only be reserved with payment, so register early! Classes run from Monday through Friday 9am-1pm A WHOLE 20 HOURS OF SEWING!!! We take a daily 20 minute break at 11 so bring a *Nut Free* snack OR bring some money & an instructor will take a quick walk to our local coffee shop.
Open to children ages 9-18, EVERYTHING INCLUDED, no sewing experience necessary.
*NOTE- Due to a very busy and hectic summer schedule, no refunds or make-ups will be offered for missed classes. You may get a partial refund, credit OR reschedule to another week with 7 days notice but availability is not guaranteed.
