One of our most popular summer camps! 🌟 Join us for 18 hours of creative fun in this 3-day sewing camp, open to ages 6–18 with no sewing experience required.

Campers will learn sewing machine basics, safety, and hands-on techniques while creating sewing projects and a chunky hand-knit project 🧶. Students are encouraged to design from scratch or use inspiration boards, and skills are taught as projects progress (zippers, patterns, buttons, hand sewing, and more!).

🕒 Schedule: 6 hours per day
☕ Breaks: Two daily snack breaks (11:00 AM Dunkin’ Donuts walk—optional; 1:00 PM snack)
🎒 Included: All fabric, materials, sewing machines & tools
🥨 Please bring: Nut-free snack and/or cash for optional Dunkin’ walk

⚠️ Policies: No refunds or make-ups. Rescheduling may be requested with 10 days’ notice, subject to availability.

Occasionally we will post photos on our social media or use them for our website. Please let us know below if we have permission to take photos of the student.

✂️🧵 3-Day Sewing Camp

One of our most popular summer camps! ⭐

Join us for 18 hours of creativity and fun 🎉 at our 3-day sewing camp! This camp is open to ages 6–18 and no sewing experience is required 🙌. Beginners and experienced students alike will feel right at home.

Six hours is a long day to sew, so we mix things up! 🪡✨ In addition to sewing projects, campers will also enjoy creating a chunky hand-knit project 🧶 for a fun change of pace.

Each day includes two short breaks ⏰:

  • 11:00 AM Break: One of our staff members takes a walk to Dunkin’ Donuts ☕🍩. Campers may join the walk (please send cash if participating) or bring a nut-free snack 🥨

  • 1:00 PM Break: Second snack break 🍎

🧵 What the 3-Day Camp Looks Like

🪡 Day One
Campers will be assigned a sewing machine that they’ll use all week. We’ll begin with a full lesson covering machine basics, threading, and safety ⚠️. After that, campers will complete a small starter project to build confidence.

Next, we’ll plan out our creative week :

  • Set goals for what we want to learn and create 🧵

    Sketch clothing ideas and project plans ✏️

Whether designing something from scratch or pulling ideas from Pinterest, we’ll help bring each vision to life! ✨ Project timelines vary based on complexity, and we always choose the most time-efficient methods.

🧷 Days Two & Three
Campers will continue working on their projects and start new ones as they finish. As skills grow, we’ll encourage more advanced techniques. Instruction may include:

  • Zippers

  • Reading patterns

  • Buttons & buttonholes

  • Hand sewing

  • Draping & design skills

  • And SEW much more! 😄🧵

Downtime will be used to explore additional design techniques and creative skills.
