This hands-on fashion design camp is all about sewing, creativity, and confidence! Campers learn real sewing skills while designing and creating their own garments.

What to Expect:

  • Sewing machine lessons & safety
  • Design planning, sketching & inspiration boards
  • Garment construction (zippers, buttons, patterns & more!)
  • Project Runway–style challenges (optional)
  • LIVE Facebook Fashion Show every Friday!

Fashion Design Sewing Camp ✂️✨

Fashion design is all about sewing! This hands-on camp brings sketches to life while encouraging full creativity.

👗 Ages 6–18
🎨 No experience needed | All materials included

Campers learn to sew while creating clothing and accessories of their own design. Optional guided projects are offered all summer, but creative freedom is always encouraged! To keep styles fresh and trendy, fabrics are purchased bi-weekly.

What a Beginner Week Looks Like

  • Day 1: Sewing machine lesson + beginner project (tote bag, skirt, shorts, or PJ pants)
  • Brainstorming and sketching design ideas
  • Days 2–4: Create garments from sketches or Pinterest inspiration
  • Projects may take 1–3 days depending on complexity, patterns, and fittings
  • Campers move on to new projects as time allows
  • Thrifted clothing available for up-cycling projects

What’s Included

✔️ All fabric, patterns, zippers, buttons & materials
✔️ Use of all sewing machines and tools during camp

💡 We recommend campers arrive with a few design ideas to make the most of their time!

Lunch & Policies

🍩 Each day includes one break (11:00). The 11:00 break includes an optional staff-led walk to Dunkin’ Donuts.
🍴 Please bring a nut-free snack and/or money for Dunkin’.
