You have the option to pay by the month or by the season. By registering now you will be paying for the month of Sept. and you will owe for Oct. on or before Sept. 20th. If you do not pay $150 by Sept. 20th you will loose your spot as this is a high demand class.

By paying for the season you will lock in your spot until Spring tuition is due. on feb 1st and you will save $20. season dates are in our description and you will receive a printed copy of our calendar.


Design Team is an INVITE ONLY class. It runs Fridays 4:30-6:30. It is very advance. Once your child has been with us for a while and is showing signs that they need more time and more of a challenge we invite them to our design team. Here we do lessons and they are encouraged to work independently to improve their skills even more!

Membership includes classes sewing instruction for one calendar month in a designated class day. Fabric charges are now included in your MONTHLY membership charge.

  • In Stitches children’s sewing class prices are based on a 9 month term which is billed and paid monthly.
  • Some months will have 3 classes and some will have 5, but each time slot will have the same amount of classes per 9 month term.
  • No refunds or discounts will be given for missed classes, but each child will be offered up to three make-ups per year. Sept-May
  • Missed classes will be made up by appointment only. Each family is allowed 1 makeup class per season, fall, winter & spring.  Never drop off your child outside their weekly class time without prior approval! Due to covid-19 there will be designated times when makeups will be allowed.
  • See class schedule page for scheduled days off. Scheduled days off are not always subject to make-up, again, each time slot will receive the same amount of class hours by year-end.
  • Call (617) 770-1267 for closings due to weather. Classes cancelled due to weather will be made up.
  • Fabric IS NOT included with tuition. Due to covid-19  we ask that the fabric brought from home  is prewashed and put into a zip lock bag directly after drying.
  • Class space is limited and can only be reserved with payment. Call for availability.
  • We will send out e-mail statements on the 15th of every  month reminding you that tuition is due on the 20th. If we do not receive a different form of payment and have not heard that your child will not be returning, your child will be taken off the schedule for the following month. In Stitches accepts secure online payments through our website under PAY MONTHLY TUITION, Venmo, or in store payments of cash or check.
  • if your child is starting in the middle of the month, class price can be prorated. Call or sign up in studio.

*Important: Availability is not guaranteed on the day you are selecting.  We will do our best to fit you into the slot of your choice and will notify you if your selection is not available.

Covid-19 safety regulations at In Stitches-

  • children, adult & staff will be required to wear a mask
  • children will be assigned seating and table space for each class
  • pouches with everyday sewing tools will be available for purchase in studio and they will be left in the studio for each weeks use. After each class pouches will be sanitized.
  • hand-sanitizing stations are set up throughout the studio and it will be required to enter the studio.
  • drop off and pick up will remain at the door to limit traffic into the studio.
  • space is now limited to 8 children, 2 staff having 10 people in the studio at a time. This way we can safely run classes and practice social distancing.
